About KEd Studio
What KEd means, who builds it, and how Kifuliiru Lab and Wekify work together.
Names
KEd is short for Kifuliiru Editor, the product family for writing and working with Kifuliiru language content.
KEd Studio is the publishing studio in that family: covers, pages, design tools, and export. The homepage is the studio. /covers is a public gallery of Kifuliiru book covers — titles that already exist, and titles waiting for a writer.
A .ked.json file is the portable book package those tools share.
What it does
You write Kifuliiru (and multilingual) books in the browser, keep several books in a local library, and design a cover with background, artwork, and layers. When you need a file you can move, you save .ked.json. When you need print or Word, you export PDF or DOCX — fully on desktop, with browser print as the web PDF path.
The studio is built for language work: columns and rows from generators, free typing on the page, and a cover that can carry Kifuliiru, English, French, and Kiswahili together.
Kifuliiru language work
Kifuliiru Lab maintains a lexicon the editor loads for autocomplete. Generator tools can produce number, verb, sentence, and reference packages that open here. Sample and generator books may include Intro, About, and Contact pages in four languages. How to write in the language is in Kifuliiru writing.
Default cover credit, badge, and untitled book names all say Kifuliiru on purpose — this is a Kifuliiru Lab publishing studio, not a generic blank editor. For the wider map, see Kifuliiru platforms.
Who builds it
KEd Studio is built by Kifuliiru Lab and Wekify. Kifuliiru Lab leads the language work and publishing. Wekify is the product and technology partner.
